CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Due to the retirement of the current Chief Executive Officer, the Darling Downs-Moreton Rabbit Board (DDMRB) is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons for this position.

Reporting directly to the Chairman & Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strong leadership and management across the organisation, to ensure long-term sustainability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience in:

• Managing a small to medium sized organisation
• Corporate governance & the ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors
• Stakeholder and external client relationship and engagement
• Interest and commitment to working in a rural community
• Financial management and the ability to creatively partner to maximize service delivery to the community
• Excellent written & oral communication

On a personal level, the Board is seeking a collaborative, creative leader who can engage across all levels of the organisation and community. Sound judgement and decision making abilities, along with a supportive and open communication style will be highly valued.

This is an exciting time to join the DDMRB and make a tangible contribution to the long-term success of the organisation. The DDMRB headquarters is located in the township of Warwick Qld, which has a population of 15,000 people, along with excellent educational and sporting facilities.
