What we are looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Officer to join our Property Works & Services team, based out of Maryborough but working on projects across the Fraser Coast region. You’ll coordinate and supervise he maintenance, operations and capital improvements on a range of administration, public use, and heritage listed facilities.
What your day will look like:
- Conducting building inspections, preparing asset condition reports and other relevant documentation
- Developing, implementing and reviewing forecasts, maintenance schedules, and asset management plans
- Assisting with the management of operational and capital budgets for building maintenance and capital works programs
- Preparing relevant quotation and tender documentation and appropriate contract administration
- Liaising with contractors and tradespersons where required

What you’ll need for success:
- Experience interpreting and applying building, heritage and safety regulations
- Demonstrated experience conducting inspections reporting and cost estimation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a variety of stakeholders
- Valid drivers licence and a construction induction white card
What’s nice to have:
- AQF level 5 or above in construction or a related field
