About the role
As a member of the Business Systems team, this position is required to provide operational support, administration
and continuous improvement of Council's business applications and associated systems to ensure reliable,
effective and efficient service delivery across the organisation.
Reporting to the Technical Lead - Applications, you will work closely with business users, vendors and technical
teams to support a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications. You will play a key role in maintaining system
performance, resolving incidents, supporting enhancements and identifying opportunities to improve business
processes and application functionality.
This role involves application administration, troubleshooting, testing, system enhancements and stakeholder
support, while contributing to the ongoing optimisation and integration of Council's enterprise systems. You will also
support project initiatives, system upgrades and continuous improvement activities that enhance the efficiency and
effectiveness of services delivered across Council.
Utilising your technical expertise, problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach will be pivotal to your
success as you help maintain and improve the business systems relied upon by teams across Wyndham City.
What your day will look like
• Supporting and administering Council's business applications and associated systems to ensure reliable
and effective service delivery.
• Investigating, analysing and resolving application incidents, system issues and service requests in a timely
and professional manner.
• Working with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to support system enhancements, integrations
and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to system testing, implementation, upgrade and transition activities for new and enhanced
application functionality.
• Developing system documentation, user guidance materials and knowledge resources while providing
support and training to business users.
What you will bring
• Degree or diploma qualification in Information Technology, or substantial equivalent experience supporting
enterprise applications.
• Experience working with the TechnologyOne CiA platform is highly desirable, including knowledge of
system functionality, configuration and application support activities.
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise or business application systems within a complex
organisational environment.
• Substantial experience in application support, systems administration, incident management and system
enhancement activities.
Wyndham City 1• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and resolve
application and system-related issues.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft SQL Server and associated business
systems technologies, coupled with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
