Communications Assistant

Temporary Part-Time (21 hours per week up to 6 months)
The role:
As a Communications Assistant, you’ll help shape and deliver engaging communications that connect our organisation with the community. Working alongside the Senior Communications Advisor and wider Communications team, you’ll coordinate content, support key communications activities, and provide valuable administrative assistance across the organisation, including Customer Services when required.

What we need from you:
- Qualifications or experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, media, or a related field, with experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail and experience creating engaging content across print, digital, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/content creation tools, with experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other creative software highly regarded.
- Experience with websites and social media, including CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and X, plus a current unrestricted driver's licence.
