RAES Support Officer
RAES Employment & Projects Officer
Regional Anangu Services Aboriginal Corporation (RASAC) delivers the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) on the APY Lands in far north west region of South Australia.
We are seeking to employ two positions for our RAES program.
RAES SUPPORT OFFICER
The RAES Support Officer will work across our RAES teams on the APY Lands, to provide support with the delivery of RAES services and community projects, with a focus on supporting training, special events and community celebrations, across the 6 RAES delivery sites on the APY Lands. The position will be based at Umuwa and will involve travel, including overnight stays, at various communities as required for operational needs.
RAES EMPLOYMENT & PROJECTS OFFICER
The RAES Employment & Projects Officer will work with our RAES participants to provide high quality, individually tailored pre-employment case management, and support delivery of community projects for RAES participants. The Employment Officer will also work with employers to refer RAES participants to job vacancies and support the overall operations of RAES in the community. The location of the position will vary depending on operational needs.

Applicants must:
- Be passionate, enthusiastic with an open communication style, and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Enjoy living and working in a remote Indigenous community environment
- Hold a Current Drivers Licence and ability to safely drive a vehicle on unsealed remote roads
- Be able to obtain a National Police Check and SA Working with Children Clearance prior to commencement.
RASAC is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation with extensive experience in remote service delivery on the APY Lands. RASAC is owned and governed by the Anangu people of the APY Lands. RASAC is the biggest employer on the APY Lands, creating real jobs within local communities.
