A vacancy exists with Etheridge Shire Council for a Works Supervisor.

The Works Supervisor will provide leadership and deliver functions that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Council’s Works Department.

The Works Supervisor’s role is to coordinate Council’s construction and road maintenance projects and supervise all functions involved, ensuring that all projects are planned, resourced and delivered effectively and within designated timeframes.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Operations Manager, the successful applicant will work autonomously to ensure an effective, smooth-running service is provided.

As a supervisor, you will provide effective leadership to crews within the Works Department and also play a vital role in the strategic direction relating to operations of the Works Department.

The successful applicant will be required to camp out at various locations within the Shire during the 9 days on and 5 days off shift, above award wages, superannuation and 5 weeks annual leave provided.

Base salary will range from $90,515.00 to $95,093.00 per annum this does not include overtime. Council housing maybe available to the successful applicant dependant on availability.
