How you'll make a difference:

As the Economic Development Coordinator, you will be a multi-skilled strategic thinker who will lead the Economic Development Team to achieve the strategic direction of the Council Plan, Alpine Shire Economic Development Strategy 2021 and the development of the Alpine Shire Tourism and Events Strategy.

You will develop and deliver sound and innovative initiatives to support and build capacity of Alpine Shire’s businesses, and business and community organisations. You will lead the Economic Development Team in planning and delivering initiatives that will support the:

• Delivery of the Alpine Shire Council Economic Development Strategy 2021 and associated strategies
• Development of the Alpine Shire Tourism and Events Strategy
• Delivery of other relevant activity as identified in the Council Plan.

Your skills and qualifications will include:

• Qualifications or experience relevant to the role;
• Driver licence;

• A valid Victorian Working with Children Check.

  • Band 7 Position. Salary range starts at: $100,353 per year + Super + Leave Loading
