Project Manager – Darwin
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead, manage and coordinate the delivery of essential building and public infrastructure capital projects, ensuring all works are completed professionally, safely, efficiently, and within approved budgets, timeframes and quality standards.
What you’ll do:
- Manage multiple building and infrastructure projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with approved scope, budget, schedule and OH&S requirements.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, procurement, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and closure.
- Monitor progress against key milestones and provide accurate, timely status reports to the Regional Manager – Building Infrastructure.
- Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with internal units and stakeholders to identify, analyse and validate business requirements and contribute to business cases and supporting documentation.
- Identify and manage risks Proactively identify, assess, manage and resolve project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communications to ensure effective consultation, collaboration and project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, organisational policies, procurement requirements and contract management obligations.
- Actively participate in professional development, training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements, promoting a safe working environment.
- Undertake other duties consistent with the position as reasonably directed by the Regional Manager – Building Infrastructure.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in a related discipline (i.e. engineering, architecture, building trades, project management).
- Developed management skills, including the ability to develop business cases, specifications, tender documentation, and guide project analysis activities.
- Key stakeholder engagement and management experience with all levels of organisation.
- Knowledge of national quality standards, specifications, and land development processes as applicable to projects.
What you’ll receive:
- A competitive salary ($$125,519.53 - $133,163.76 per year, excluding super), with annual reviews under the Enterprise Agreement
- 6 weeks of annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading
