This role offers the opportunity to utilise your finance skills to deliver high-quality operational and administrative support, contributing to the effective, compliant, and efficient delivery of Council’s rating and revenue functions.

What You’ll Be Working On

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a hands-on operational and administrative finance function, supporting Council’s rating and revenue activities.

You will be responsible for a broad range of revenue functions, including invoicing, account adjustments, debt recovery processes, and the coordination of pensioner rebate applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role:

  • Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline working in a Finance environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a revenue environment , with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, meet strict deadlines, and deliver accurate and timely outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and continuous improvement, supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge and experience in Authority software and advanced excel skills will be highly regarded.
