- Overseeing the implementation of Council’s new website footprint. This isn’t a "lift and shift" content project, it’s a complete, user-centric re-imagining of our digital front door.
- Lead the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management solution for all of Council – transforming how we interact with our customers
- Manage the delivery of an in-house digital product suite leveraging modern Microsoft cloud infrastructure and platforms to build impactful, scalable solutions.
This role never has the same day twice. The work is fast-paced, and the team working with you are passionate about delivering meaningful change within Council and to our customers.
About you
You are a strategic thinker who loves to own the product lifecycle from discovery through to continuous delivery and optimisation. Communication is your strength, you bring people along for the transformation journey, understanding that technology is only one piece of the puzzle.
You can balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business goals to define a strategy and vision, execute and ensure our stakeholders are aligned and engaged.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Digital Delivery Lead.
- A background that blends commercial acumen, user-centered design (UCD), and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience leading cross-functional squads (developers, BAs, designers, and content owners).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable, but we are more interested in your track record of shipping successful products or projects.
While experience in local government is a plus, it is not mandatory for the role. We actively welcome leaders from tech, startup, enterprise, or consulting backgrounds who want to apply their skills to make a real-world, tangible impact on the community.
