Coordinator Capital Projects
City of Mount Gambier | Full Time | Fixed term 2 Years
Build the things people actually use - and live somewhere people escape to.
Some project roles keep you buried in spreadsheets. This one puts you close to the action, delivering real infrastructure, community assets and capital works that shape how a city grows, moves, plays and connects.
The City of Mount Gambier is seeking a Coordinator Capital Projects to help plan, coordinate and deliver Council's capital works program across infrastructure, buildings, facilities, sport precincts, roads, drainage, footpaths and other key community assets.
If you can keep projects moving, contractors aligned, budgets under control and stakeholders informed, this is a chance to do meaningful work in a regional city with momentum.
Why Mount Gambier?
Because life does not need to be all traffic, parking stress and takeaway dinners at your desk.
Mount Gambier is South Australia's regional capital on the Limestone Coast - home to crater lakes, caves, sinkholes, parks, sport, food, wine, creative culture and coastal escapes within easy reach.
You get the professional challenge of complex capital projects, with the lifestyle benefits of a connected regional city that gives you back time, space and balance.

- contributing to better systems, processes and continuous improvement in project delivery
- 38-hour week / 76 hours per fortnight
- Federal Superannuation Guarantee plus an additional 1% employer contribution
- RDO arrangements
- flexible working options
- 2 additional annual leave days
- 1 wellbeing day
- strong experience in project, contract and procurement management
