Remuneration: Band 4 salary of $78,402.48 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation

About the role
Join Wyndham City's Community First team and play an important role in helping our community access more than
100 Council services. As one of our Contact Centre Officers, you will be the first point of contact for many
residents, providing accurate information, resolving enquiries and delivering a positive customer experience.
While phone-based enquiries will make up the majority of your day, once fully trained you will also have the
opportunity to assist customers through face-to-face interactions at our service centres.
You will be part of a supportive team of more than 30 Contact Centre Officers, with comprehensive training and
ongoing support provided in the office. Following successful completion of training, there may be the opportunity to
work in a hybrid arrangement, subject to operational requirements.
We are recruiting for two permanent part-time positions:
• 35 hours per week
• 25.5 hours per week

What your day will look like
• Handle or redirect enquiries efficiently, courteously, and professionally
• Provide excellent customer support to both the community and staff across all channels, with phone
interactions as the initial focus
• Meet service levels and standards, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to Council policies and
industry best practices
• Use Council reporting systems to accurately record enquiries and ensure successful outcomes for
customers
