Are you a Civil Engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion?

Warrumbungle Shire Council is seeking a Design & Projects Engineer to develop and deliver civil infrastructure projects that make a real difference to our communities. In this diverse role, you’ll manage projects from investigation, planning and design through to construction, working on roads, drainage, buildings and community infrastructure.

You’ll prepare designs and specifications, undertake feasibility studies, manage consultants and contractors, monitor budgets and timelines, provide technical advice, and assess development applications to ensure practical, compliant infrastructure outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with recognised Civil Engineering qualifications, strong project management and design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience with Austroads standards, AutoCAD/CivilCAD (or similar), and government procurement is highly regarded. Local government and 12D experience are advantageous.
