Remuneration: Band 4 salary from $78,402.48 plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO

Location: Werribee based

About the role

At Wyndham, our Information Management Officers are critical in the safe handling of our communities’ records as

well as providing high-quality customer-focused records and information management services to our organization.

The successful candidate will ensure that Council records and information are maintained in accordance with

corporate policies and procedures, industry standards, and legislative requirements.

With a customer focused mindset, you will be adaptable with the ability to think on your feet with a variety of tasks

in a diverse team. You will also enjoy technology driven outcomes for ensuring effective and safe handling of

records and information.

What your day will look like

• Providing customer focused guidance and support on the use of the Electronic Content Management

System (ECM) to staff and users

• Managing all aspects of Records Management activities including capture, archiving, and destruction

• Maintaining corporate records in accordance with industry standards and legislative requirements

• Opening, sorting, distributing and logging all inward mail and emails received by the Council

• Processing all outward mail and arranging courier deliveries

What you will bring

• Diploma or lesser qualification with relevant work experience in records and information management

• Experience in local government records and information management

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and electronic document management systems, preferably

Technology One ECM

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work well within a team environment and provide excellent customer service
