Business Support Officer

The Business Support Officer provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Department Leader Operations Planning and Operation’s leadership team, with a strong focus on financial oversight, reporting, and data-driven monitoring of Operation’s division delivery performance.

About You

You are an organised and proactive administration professional with experience supporting senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality business support in a fast-paced environment. You have strong financial and reporting capabilities, including budget monitoring, procurement processes and the use of Power BI or similar tools to analyse data and provide meaningful insights. You are a collaborative communicator with excellent attention to detail, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for achieving positive outcomes for both the organisation and the community.

Remuneration

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2026 and Cabonne Council’s policies and conditions of employment.

This position is graded 6-7 in Council's salary system. The gross weekly wage range is $1320.40 - $1511.30 dependant on skills and experience.
