Katherine Town Council is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Group Manager Infrastructure and Environment.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio including infrastructure, engineering, asset management, waste services, airport operations, parks and gardens, depot operations, sustainability, cemetery, emergency response and major capital works.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact in one of the Northern Territory's most vibrant regional communities while leading strategic infrastructure and environmental outcomes that support the future growth of Katherine.

Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic leadership and operational management
• Infrastructure and asset management planning
• Delivery of capital works and maintenance programs
• Waste management and sustainability initiatives
• Governance, procurement and compliance oversight
• Budget management and financial sustainability
• Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
• Stakeholder and community engagement

About You:
You will be an experienced senior leader with strong knowledge of infrastructure operations, asset management, local government, and team leadership. You will have excellent communication skills, sound commercial and strategic judgement, and a strong commitment to safety, service delivery and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, engineering or related field
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Current Police Check and Working with Children Clearance
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role
