17.5 hours a week
Hourly range: $37.66 - $43.76 per hour + 12% Super

What you'll do

As the Corporate Information Officer, you will report to the Coordinator Corporate Information and provide a range of records management services that support Council operations in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-level, efficient, effective, courteous, and informative responses to record-keeping and archiving requests.
  • Ensure Council records are stored, maintained, and controlled in accordance with the State Records Act (NSW), associated legislation, and relevant standards.
  • Contribute to the delivery of records disposal and digitisation programs.
  • Support the achievement of organisational service levels and performance standards.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of records management processes and practices.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Records Management and/or demonstrated experience in a formal recordkeeping environment.
  2. Experience in the operation of an electronic document and records management system (EDRMS).
  3. Knowledge of the State Records Act and associated legislation and standards.
  4. Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  5. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  6. Demonstrated excellence in accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment meeting strict deadlines
  7. Demonstrated experience with the MS Office suite
  8. Current Drivers Licence (Class C)
