About Coastal Connect
The South West Councils ICT Alliance (SWCICTA) is a joint venture between Corangamite Shire, Moyne Shire and Warrnambool City Council. SWCICTA’s major initiative is the Coastal Connect project, which will uplift the councils’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to a SaaS environment with supplier TechnologyOne.
The project will deliver significant benefits to each council and their communities through a shared system, common business processes and improved corporate and customer support functions.
About the position
We are seeking a Project Officer to join the Coastal Connect project team on a temporary full-time basis until June 2027.
Reporting to the Manager Change Management – Coastal Connect, this role will lead the change management processes for Phase 2 of the Coastal Connect project. This phase focuses on the implementation of TechnologyOne’s Property and Rating modules, including property and rates, planning, building, animals, local laws, enforcement, regulatory services, electronic content management (document management) and customer requests.
The Project Officer – Coastal Connect will be responsible for coordinating the learning and development needs of all staff throughout the project. This includes implementing the change management plan, training and development plan and stakeholder engagement plan.
Travel between the three Councils (Corangamite, Moyne and Warrnambool) will be required.
About you
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to be creative and inclusive, and to facilitate and negotiate solutions to complex issues and interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of change management (and/or business analysis) methodologies and application of the methodology into real change scenarios.
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating internal stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma), and/or significant experience in a related discipline or similar role such as project management, planning, building, local government, regulatory services, rates or information technology.
- Ability to meet objectives within time constraints, conflicting demands and to liaise effectively and professionally with external stakeholders.
