Full Time, Permanent (72.5 hours per fortnight over 9 days) | $101,902-$109,736 per annum (based on

qualifications and experience) plus 12% superannuation

Lockyer Valley Regional Council is currently seeking applications from dynamic, innovative and highly experienced individuals to fill the position of Senior Planner within our Development Assessment Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person who has the required qualifications, experience and desire to undertake a challenging but fulfilling role in a values-driven organisation.

The purpose of this position is to:

Ensure Council’s objectives, expressed in strategic documents such as the Corporate Plan and Planning Scheme, are achieved in a development assessment context.

Exercise delegated authority in a manner that is consistent with Council’s objectives.

Establish and foster productive relationships between the Development Assessment team and internal and external stakeholders.

Contribute to the leadership and performance of the Development Assessment team.

Ensure the Development Assessment team delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Contribute to the formulation and execution of continuous improvement initiatives related to development assessment and development compliance.
