This isn't just about balancing the books; it’s about driving positive outcomes for our residents. You will be the engine room of our financial operations and property data. Your day-to-day will include:
- Core Revenue Functions: Administer rates, annual charges, water, and sewer accounts.
- Financial Care for our Rate Payers: Process pension rebates, adjustments, and supportive payment arrangements.
- Property Mapping: Map out new subdivisions, allocate fresh street addresses, and update council mapping software.
- Debt Recovery: Professionally manage debt recovery and compliance with the Local Government Act.
- Customer Connections: Resolve complex revenue enquiries and property certificates with clarity and empathy.
About You
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Proven experience in local government revenue, finance, or a highly transferable corporate billing role.
- Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to smash deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial management systems, mapping/GIS software, and MS Office.
- Top-tier communication skills and a genuine love for helping customers.

Salary ranges from $1,262.78 to $1,490.27 per week + 12 % super, depending on skills, experience and qualifications in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award.
