MULLEWA CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER

The Mullewa District Office is seeking a full time Customer Service Officer to join the team. The Customer Service Officer is the face of the Mullewa District Office, aiming to optimise resolution at the first point of contact and deliver a premium experience to the Mullewa community. This role is responsible for providing accurate, concise, and timely information to the general public in all areas of the City business.

This position will be based at the Mullew a District Office and is a permanent part-time opportunity working up to 19 hours per week.

Key accountabilities:

As the customer-interfacing “face” of the Mullewa District Office, deliver a consistent and responsive customer experience via range of delivery methods, including face-to-face, email and phone to all internal and external customers.

Address a range of customer requests in all areas of activity determining their needs and requirements, servicing their expectations, and providing effective timely solutions, escalating enquiries through to specialist staff where necessary.

Accurately input, monitor, and maintain customer records within City systems and databases which support future activities.

Undertake the processing and delivery of customer focused functions, including but not limited to, Mullewa library services, Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure licensing services, Mullewa community facility, cemetery and dog/cat registration applications.

Position requirements:

The successful applicant will have demonstrated customer service experience, including the ability to establish positive relationships with customers and to determine and address customer requirements. Sound level of office administration skills including processing payments and input and manage customer information is also a requirement.

Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City. This position also requires the successful applicant to possess a current C class drivers licence and provide a current National Police Clearance.

Remuneration and benefits:

The Mullewa Customer Service Officer position has a salary starting from $76,072 per annum (pro

rata) or $38.4981 per hour, offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
